I believe simple and clear is always best. All projects are different but my workflow breaks down into five clear stages:
Immerse & Define
Understand the opportunity and establish a strategic direction.
This is a vital part of the journey, to understand fully the task at hand, your ambition, the creative opportunities and form a strong relationship. An approach for the next stage can then be mapped out.
Creative Vision
This stage involves visual and written exploration. Design principles will be established through the exploration of language, colour, tone of voice and imagery to give a flavour of how the design direction will look and feel. This will be visualised across customer touch points and core identity elements to create the vision of a new brand world. A ‘big idea’ will be at the heart of this work.
Design Solutions
This stage sees the creative concepts being bought to life across the full scope of deliverables to ensure its robustness. The main touch points will be designed in preparation for the first roll out of collateral.
Design Delivery
Upon approval of the core brand identity and overall vision is the design delivery stage. This involves final artwork and management of all production required for delivery. Brand guidelines will be an important part of this stage to ensure it is consistently delivered in safe hands.
Consultancy
After creating a new brand, I am committed to it flourishing. Many of my clients return to work with me alongside internal and external teams to ensure its consistent impact and delivery.
